Medical camp at T.Narasipura ( 28/01/2025)

 A medical camp was organised at T.Narasipura by Government Ayurveda Medical College Mysuru in association with Arogya bharathi on 28/01/2025 Around 350 members took benifit from the camp Free medical checkup and diet advice was provided. Dr. Ankitha and Dr. Priyanka from Swasthavritha Department took part in it.

National level yogasana championship 2025 ( 19/01/2025)

  Mysore Chaitanya yoga kendra conducted " Open National Level Yogasana Championship 2025" on Sunday 19th January at Jagana Mohana Palace, Mysore All the PG scholars of Department of Swasthavritta took part in it. The championship begun with a session of Yoga Pranayama and a energetic jumba workshop followed by competition. Dr. Ankitha secured 5th place in National Level Yogasana Championship 2025 Dr. Rahul secured 6th place in National Level Yogasana Championship 2025

Medical Camp on 05/01/2025

 On January 5, 2025 An Ayurvedic medical camp was inaugurated in Alagudu village, Narasipura taluka, amidst a ceremonial lamp lighting, marking the beginning of a holistic healthcare initiative. The camp, arranged by Arogya Bharati, was formally launched by lighting the lamp, symbolizing the illumination of health and wellness in the community. A team of doctors from the Government Ayurvedic Medical College, provided free consultations, check-ups, and treatments for various ailments, focusing on preventive care and self-management. As many as 135 villagers benefited from the camp's emphasis on holistic wellness, receiving guidance on diet, lifestyle, and Ayurvedic remedies. The camp also distributed free medicines and conducted health awareness sessions, empowering the community to adopt healthier habits and improve their overall well-being. Dr Vandana and Dr Shilpa, PG scholars from Swasthavritta department attended the program 

Talk on World Meditation Day ( 21/12/2024)

A guest lecture was organised by Government Ayurveda Medical College Mysuru on behalf of World Meditation Day. Ms. Naganandini was the chief guest .  Naganandini mam, is a retired development officer, she knows Gurudev Sri Sri Ravishankar ji from 1980, from very young age she learnt meditation from him. Since 25yrs she has been taking Art of living courses called Happiness programme, Sri Sri yoga,Sahaj Samadhi meditation and Advanced meditation. She is also involved in many responsibilities and seva activites transforming lives of many people. The session was interactive and more concentrating on practical experience. PG scholars of all department took benifit from the event.

World Meditation Day ( 21/12/2024)

  21st December 2024 was the first World Meditation Day as declared on 6th Dec by UN General Assembly. India co-sponsored a UN General Assembly draft resolution that was unanimously adopted to proclaim December 21 as World Meditation Day. At Mysuru it was celebrated in open air theater near kukkerhalli kere lead by Brahmakumari institute. Around 1500 members took part in it and made the event successful. PG Scholars and Staff of Swasthavritta Department took active participation in it.

Health camp and Prakruti parikshan ( 12/12/2024)

  A health camp and Prakruti parikshan abhyan was conducted at the police quarters Mysuru on 12/12/2024. Around 300 participants were benefited by the camp. Swasthavritta PG scholars :  Dr Hitha Dr. Pavana Dr. Ankitha Dr. Priyanka Dr. Sushmitha attended the camp and contributed in its success.

Health Camp at Maddur ( 15/12/2024 )

 As a routine health care checkup and also to create awareness among Village people - Health camp was organised at Maddur village near Hunsuru by Arogya Bharati in association with Government Ayurveda Medical College Mysuru. Around 1000 houses were informed about the camp and it yielded around 100 members for the health checkup. Swasthavritta PG Scholars Dr. Janani D Rao, Dr. pankaja, Dr. Rahul attended the camp. Ayurvedic medical services and diet lifestyle advice was provided to the people. Necessary people were guided to consult the hospital and visit for followup. Routine BP monitoring as well as Random blood checkup was done by Suyog hospital team which accompanied the camp. There was also Blood group indentification camp and eye checkup camp organised simultaneously.
