Speaker for Technical Session 1 was Ms. JENS BACHE, Copenhagen, Denmark
Topic: Western view on Yoga and Promotion of yoga in the west
The session was very informative and interesting.
Speaker for Technical session 2 was Dr. GANESH KUMAR, India
who spoke on the topic of Ashtanga Yoga
Speaker of Technical Session 3 was Mr. Hamish Hendry who spoke about Mental health & Yoga

Session 2 was presented by Dr. Shivakumar Shetty from SDMNYC&H Ujire
topic: yoga therapy- evidence based medicine



Session 3 was presented by Mr. Vladyslav chengelia on the topic of Sporta and Yoga


The valedictory ceremony was conducted at 3.30PM


The chief guest for the session was Dr. M.A. Dasar, Deputy Director, AYUSH
Overall 400+ participants attended the  International webinar Yoganushasana 2023 and contributed to its success.
Department of Swasthavritta worked efficiently to make the program run smoothly without any interruptions.

 On January 5, 2025 An Ayurvedic medical camp was inaugurated in Alagudu village, Narasipura taluka, amidst a ceremonial lamp lighting, marking the beginning of a holistic healthcare initiative. The camp, arranged by Arogya Bharati, was formally launched by lighting the lamp, symbolizing the illumination of health and wellness in the community. A team of doctors from the Government Ayurvedic Medical College, provided free consultations, check-ups, and treatments for various ailments, focusing on preventive care and self-management. As many as 135 villagers benefited from the camp's emphasis on holistic wellness, receiving guidance on diet, lifestyle, and Ayurvedic remedies. The camp also distributed free medicines and conducted health awareness sessions, empowering the community to adopt healthier habits and improve their overall well-being. Dr Vandana and Dr Shilpa, PG scholars from Swasthavritta department attended the program

One paper presentation and Two poster presentations were done at GAF-2023,  Date- December 1-5, 2023 Place- Greenfield International Stadium, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Dr. Lakshmipriya S presented a paper titled " Role of Ayurveda in the Management of Contagious Diseases" Dr. Janani Presented a poster on the "Implementation of Ayurveda in Public Health" Dr. Anusha Presented a poster on "An Insight into the Role of Garbhini and Sutika Paricharya in Postpartum Depression and its Importance on Epigenetics"

Health Camp at Maddur ( 15/12/2024 )

 As a routine health care checkup and also to create awareness among Village people - Health camp was organised at Maddur village near Hunsuru by Arogya Bharati in association with Government Ayurveda Medical College Mysuru. Around 1000 houses were informed about the camp and it yielded around 100 members for the health checkup. Swasthavritta PG Scholars Dr. Janani D Rao, Dr. pankaja, Dr. Rahul attended the camp. Ayurvedic medical services and diet lifestyle advice was provided to the people. Necessary people were guided to consult the hospital and visit for followup. Routine BP monitoring as well as Random blood checkup was done by Suyog hospital team which accompanied the camp. There was also Blood group indentification camp and eye checkup camp organised simultaneously.
