  Report on HARIT Yoga – 11th International Day of Yoga Venue: Sougandhika Park, Mysuru Date: 09/06/2025 Organised by: Government Ayurveda Medical College, Mysuru As part of the 11th International Day of Yoga celebrations, Government Ayurveda Medical College, Mysuru, organised a unique yoga program under the initiative HARIT Yoga on 09/06/2025 at Sougandhika Park, Mysuru. The event aimed to promote the practice of yoga in natural settings such as parks and eco-friendly environments, highlighting the connection between human health and environmental conservation. Launched in alignment with World Environment Day (June 5) and IDY (June 21), the initiative seeks to foster awareness about nature and sustainability. YOGA DHANUSH @ TERRASIAN PU COLLEGE ( 10/06/2025)

 Date -10/6/25 A Yoga programme was organized at Teresian College, Mysore, under the Yoga Dhanush initiative. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Junita (Director, Teresian College), Prof. Wilfred (Dept. of Botany), Mr.Vivek Charley(ICAQ Coordinater), and Dr. Praveen Kumar (Professor, Dept. of Swasthavritta and Yoga), along with other faculty members and Post graduate students Dept.of Swasthavritta and Yoga Govt. Ayurvedic college Mysore and PG Scholars of Teresian college. Dr. Praveen Kumar addressed the students on the importance of Yoga in daily life and the benefits of Ashtanga Yoga.  The Common Yoga Protocol was instructed by Dr. Hitha and demonstrated by Dr. Ankita and Dr. Sushmita, PG Scholars from the Department of Swasthavritta and Yoga. Around 80–100 students participated enthusiastically, and their active involvement was well appreciated.

  Report on Yoga Dhanush Event – 11th International Day of Yoga Venue: Sadvidya High School, Mysuru Organised by: Government Ayurveda Medical College, Mysuru Target Group: High School Teachers Date:  05/06/2025 As part of the 11th International Day of Yoga celebrations, the Government Ayurveda Medical College, Mysuru, organized the Yoga Dhanush event at Sadvidya High School, focusing on high school teachers. Aimed at addressing health issues arising from stress and sedentary routines—like varicose veins, hypertension, and joint pain—the program promoted preventive healthcare through yoga. Dr. Praveen Kumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Swasthavritha, delivered the opening address, emphasizing the importance of AYUSH systems and preventive health practices.  A Common Yoga Protocol demonstration was followed by a 45-minute live yoga session tailored to the teachers’ occupational needs, focusing on stress relief, circulation, and musculoskeletal health.  *11th International Day of Yoga – Inaugural Program* *Government Ayurveda Medical College, Mysuru* *Date: 09/06/2025* Mysuru: The Government Ayurveda Medical College, Mysuru, in association with the Department of Swasthavritha and Yoga, Health and Family Welfare, organized the inaugural function of the 11th International Day of Yoga on June 9, 2025, at Sri Nalvadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar Auditorium. The event was inaugurated by Sri K. Harish Gowda, Hon'ble MLA, Chamaraja Constituency. In his address, he emphasized the role of yoga in managing modern lifestyle disorders and the importance of guiding the public in adopting yoga. Dr. K.S.
