Ayurveda Ratha Yathra was conducted in connection with the 2nd World Ayurveda Global Summit , scheduled to be held from 25th to 28th December 2025 . As part of this national awareness initiative, the Ayurveda Ratha Yathra arrived at Government Ayurveda Medical College (GAMC), Mysore on 11th December 2025 . The event aimed to promote awareness about Ayurveda, its preventive principles, and global relevance among students, faculty, and the public. The arrival of the ratha was warmly welcomed by the institution, marking a significant step in spreading the message of Ayurveda in the lead-up to the global summit.

On 3rd October 2025, a guest lecture on the topic Scientific Basis of Yoga was conducted by the Department of Swasthavritta and Yoga, Government Ayurveda Medical College, Mysore. The lecture, delivered by Dr Gurupraveen, focused on the scientific understanding of yogic practices and their role in promoting physical, mental, and metabolic health through physiological and psychological mechanisms. The session emphasized the integration of classical yogic concepts with modern scientific evidence, encouraging an evidence-based approach to yoga in preventive healthcare. The program's beneficiaries were postgraduate scholars from the Department of Swasthavritta, who actively participated and gained academic insights relevant to their curriculum and research orientation.

CARI, Bengaluru, in association with the CCRAS, Ministry of AYUSH, organised an international conference on Ayurveda and integrative approaches to obesity and metabolic syndrome on 1st and 2nd December 2025. The conference featured paper presentations, in which PG scholars from the Department of Swasthavritta actively participated. The participants from the department included Dr Ankitha, Dr. Noorul Hadiya, Dr Pankaja, Dr Lakshmipriya, and Dr Rahul Singh. Dr Rahul Singh and Dr Noorul Hadiya got the best paper awards

On the occasion of World Diabetes Day , a free health camp was organised in the Swasthavritta OPD, Government Ayurveda Medical College (GAMC), Mysore , from 10/11/2025 to 16/11/2025 . A large number of patients availed themselves of this opportunity to seek consultation and receive free medicines . As part of the concluding programme, a guest lecture for the general public was conducted on 1 6/11/2025 at GAMC, Mysore. The session was delivered by Dr Jyothi Hegde and was attended by more than 50 participants . During the lecture, the speaker highlighted the role of Ayurvedic ahara and lifestyle modifications in the prevention and management of Diabetes Mellitus .
