 Guest lecture by Final year PG scholars o the 1st year UG as a part of transitional curriculam 2025-2026 on November 17th 2025 by Dr Janani, Dr Shantha, Dr Yashaswini , Dr Hitha on November 18th 2025 survey trial of 1hour by Dr Janani and Dr Lakshmipriya  On November 20th 2025- 1st year UG students accompanied by faculty and PG Scholars of department of Swashavrtta ( Dr Ankitha, Dr Pankaja, Dr Hadiya, Dr Vandana) to conduct Survey at Devalapura 

Attended PhD Presentation of Dr Ashwini

 All PG scholars attended the PhD presentation of Dr. Ashwini from the Department of Samhitha and Siddhanttha at Government Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital, Mysuru on 13th November 2025. The session was highly informative and academically enriching, providing valuable insights into classical Ayurvedic principles and research methodology. The presentation encouraged scholarly discussion and inspired the PG scholars to deepen their understanding of Samhitha-based concepts and their research applications.

Anjana Preparation in Department

 As a part of Dinacharya (daily regimen) in Ayurveda, Anjana is an important preventive eye care procedure practiced for maintaining ocular health and improving vision. In the Department of Swasthavritta at Government Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital, Mysuru , Anjana preparation is carried out following classical Ayurvedic guidelines with strict attention to authenticity and hygiene. PG scholars actively participate in the selection, purification, and fine trituration of ingredients to obtain the appropriate consistency of the formulation. This hands-on training not only enhances their practical knowledge of Ayurvedic pharmaceutical procedures but also reinforces the importance of daily preventive practices in promoting eye health and overall well-being.

Award ceremony - Vaibhava-2025

 Vaibhava 2025 was a vibrant and memorable event encompassing sports, academic, and cultural festivities , held at Government Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital, Mysuru . The grand celebrations  unfolded over a span of eight days , creating an atmosphere of enthusiasm, healthy competition, and creative expression across the campus. PG scholars from the Department of Swasthavritta participated with remarkable zeal and dedication in all three domains—sports, academics, and cultural events . Their active involvement reflected not only physical stamina and intellectual acumen but also artistic flair and teamwork. Throughout the fest, the scholars showcased exemplary performance and brought laurels to the department by winning numerous prizes across various competitions. The Award ceremony of Vaibhava 2025 was held on 3rd February 2025

Samskara- 2025

 Samskara- PG Orientation Program for New First year Post graduate Students was conducted at Charaka Government Ayurveda Post Graduation Centre for 7 days Every day different topics were addressed by various faculties to provide guidance for a productive post-graduation life, Skill development and reserach orientation were developed among all students. 

CCARD- International Conference 2025

 The CCARD International Conference 2025 was organized by Cauvery Ayurvedic Hospital , Mysuru, on the theme “Ahara Vihara Arogya Vichara – Intersecting Nutrition, Lifestyle Medicine, and Sustainable Healthcare.” The conference focused on integrating traditional Ayurvedic principles with modern perspectives on nutrition, lifestyle medicine, and sustainable healthcare practices. First-year postgraduate scholars actively participated in the conference. The event provided an excellent academic platform for learning, knowledge exchange, and interaction with experts from various fields. It enriched the scholars’ understanding of the vital role of Ahara (diet) and Vihara (lifestyle) in promoting holistic health and well-being.

FRT Program- 2025

 On 22nd and 23rd December 2025, a First Responder Training Program was successfully conducted for the benefit of students and faculty. The two-day training program focused on equipping participants with essential emergency response skills, including basic life support, first aid techniques, and effective crisis management. All postgraduate scholars from the department actively attended and participated in the training sessions. The program provided valuable hands-on experience and enhanced their preparedness to respond confidently and efficiently in emergency situations. The training proved to be highly informative and practical, strengthening the participants’ sense of responsibility and readiness to serve the community in times of need.

Wellness camp at DEED Samsthe-2025

 On the occasion of National Ayurveda Day, a Wellness Camp was successfully conducted on 25th September 2025 at DEED Samasthe, Hunsur, with the objective of promoting holistic health and well-being among the tribal community through Ayurvedic principles and yoga practices. Dr Pankaja, Dr Shantha, Dr Hitha, Dr Rahul, Dr Lakshmipriya were present in the event. They educated people about Ayurveda diet and lifestyle  The tribal community members showed active participation and interest throughout the camp. The sessions were interactive, and doubts related to health, diet, and lifestyle were clarified in a culturally appropriate manner. Outcome The wellness camp successfully increased awareness among the tribal population regarding the importance of Ayurveda and Yoga in daily life. Participants gained practical knowledge and were motivated to adopt healthy lifestyle practices.

Yoga Samhitha-2026

 On 4th January 2026, an event was organised by Himalaya Pratishthana, Mysuru, on the topic of a seminar on ancient texts of Yoga  It was held in Shreeramakrishna Vidyakendra, Sharada Sabhangana, Ramakrishnanagar, Mysuru  PG Scholars from the department attended the event 

Yoga Dasara-2025

 On 25th September 2025, on the auspicious occasion of Yoga Dasara, academic presentations were conducted at the JK Ground Auditorium. All postgraduate scholars from the Department of Swasthavritta actively participated and presented scholarly papers on various topics related to Yoga. The event highlighted the academic involvement and research contributions of the department in promoting the principles and practices of Yoga.

Poster presentation- National Girl Child day

 On the occasion of  National Girl Child Day on January 24th,  the Department of Prasuti Tantra and Stree Roga, PNNM Ayurvedic Medical College, Trissur, Kerala,  has organised a National Poster Competition. Dr Rahul, Dr Lakshmipriya and Dr Anagha participated in a poster presentation  Dr Lakshmipriya won first prize 

ALOKA-2025

 A National-level paper presentation was conducted by Vaidyaratnam P S Varier Ayurveda College, Kotakkal, named ALOKA Dr Lakshmipriya, Dr Shantha, Dr Pankaja, Dr Pavana, and Dr Rahul from Dept of Swasthavritta participated in the paper presentation  Dr Lakshmipriya won 1st prize with a cash prize of 8000 rupees Congratulations to the winner 

Welcoming Freshers to the Department

It was wonderful to see the excitement and curiosity in the new students as they begin this important journey of learning and growth. Suryanamaskara - Ratasaptami

 Participated in the sacred Surya Namaskara on the auspicious occasion of Ratha Saptami , a day dedicated to worshipping the Sun God.  Ratha Saptami symbolisesenergising the divine chariot of the Sun, turning towards the northern hemisphere, marking growth, positivity, and new beginnings. Performing Surya Namaskara on this day was a spiritually uplifting and energizing experience, filling the morning with gratitude, discipline, and renewed vitality.
